Students evaluate entrepreneurial teams, opportunities, and financing requirements while developing the skills, concepts, and knowledge needed to launch a business. |
Applied Quantitative Analysis | Fall | Semester | 1 hour/week | Partner with student teams to tackle real-world data challenges. Systems Analysis and Design | Fall/Spring | Semester | 1 hour/week | Collaborate with multidisciplinary student teams as they analyze and develop an understanding of complex systems, integrating business and technical design. Students examine how systems evolve over time and respond to technology disruptions, internal decisions, and external forces, applying these insights to real-world challenges. Digital Marketing | Fall/Spring | Semester | 1 hour/week | Collaborate with students as they explore strategies for marketing products and services through digital channels, including the web, social media, and mobile apps. Students analyze and develop digital media marketing strategies to address real-world business challenges. |
Introduction to Design and Quality | Fall/Spring | Semester | 1 hour/week | Collaborate with multidisciplinary student teams as they apply design practices to create new products and services. Using quality and process improvement methods, students identify, analyze, and recommend solutions to real-world challenges. Interdisciplinary Business Capstone | Spring | Semester | 1 hour/week | As the capstone course in the Interdisciplinary Business Honors (IBH) Program, students collaborate with your company to address a pressing challenge. They apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout the IBH program to deliver actionable solutions. This includes scholarly research and academic recommendations. |

They also conduct diagnostic assessments and formulate process improvement plans to address real-world challenges. |
