Recently, 21 Smith School professors were identified among the top 2% most-cited scholars and scientists worldwide. The study, published by Elsevier, examined 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields and ranked researchers based on the number of times their work is cited in other research. It also accounts for career-long and recent single-year impact.
