College Park, Md. September 10, 2007 The University of Marylands Robert H. Smith School of Business MBA and undergraduate programs are rated among in the top 25 in the nation for entrepreneurship, according to a ranking published in the September issue of Fortune Small Business magazine.
There are 24 new students hailing from nine countries entering Smith's PhD program this fall. The doctoral program is competitive with the worlds top business school, attracting excellent students in every discipline and averaging approximately 25 applications for every student admitted. Currently, there are 100 students in the program.

Under the towering ceiling of Comcast Center, 780 undergraduates, 300 MBA students, 50 EMBA students, and 12 doctoral students received their business degrees from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business on May 21, 2007.
